Come celebrate the new year Gaspesie style with Quimorucru.
With cajun, celtic, québécois, and acadienne flare Quimorucru will make you tape your feet. Sometimes serious, sometimes funny, the band’s lyrics perfectly reflect the pride each of the members feel about their native region of Gaspesie. The band has been burning up the festival circuit all over Quebec, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, and France. With 4 albums already behind them the band continues on with their mission: to use their music to get as many people as possible to learn about their hometown. An accordion, a violin, a harmonica, a mandoline, and a banjo are their weapons for these pacifist maritime kids in their eternal battle, forever proud of their country.
